<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for driving the dimming equipment is provided to set a predetermined voltage even when a size of AC, a commercial power, is changed randomly, thereby implementing the stable driving. CONSTITUTION: An input voltage detector (600) detects an input voltage of an altering current (AC). An output voltage detector (700) detects an output voltage. A switch unit (100) switches the input power source. A microcomputer (MICOM) (500) controls the switching pulse width of the input voltage so that the peak of the output voltage can be less than a fixed voltage. A switch driving unit (400) outputs a signal for driving the switch unit.
