PURPOSE: A swerve preventing apparatus for a coal conveyor system is provided to prevent swerving by controlling a rotation angle through the release of an interlocked part. CONSTITUTION: A swerve preventing apparatus for a coal conveyor system comprises a base(21), a hooking portion(22), a roller joint(23) and a controller(26). The base is installed in both sides of an idler. The hooking portion is formed into an arch shape and is installed in the upper side of the base. The saw blade is formed in the outer circumference of the hooking portion. The roller joint is rotatably hinge-coupled with the base around a hinge shaft. The anti-swerving roller is coupled on the top of the roller joint. The controller is connected to the roller joint, is engaged with the saw blade of the hooking portion and controls the angle of the anti-swerving roller.
