<p>A quick coupling (100) with automatic fluid cut-off having a safety catch device preventing inadvertent disconnection is disclosed. The quick coupling comprising a first element (50) and a second element (60) that can be coupled and decoupled. The first element has an external sleeve (1) with a first engaging means, such as a helical groove, a connector for connection to a first user interface, and at least one valved coupling for at least one pressure line. The second element comprising a second engaging means such as pins (13), at least one valved coupling for at least one pressure line, and a connector for connection to a second user interface. The second element also has a safety ring nut, along the circumference of which safety pins (14) are provided adapted to be pushed by said second engaging means into seats of the external sleeve. These pins prevent mutual rotation of the two elements when connected unless the ring is moved axially, withdrawing the pins from the seats in the external sleeve.</p> |
