Disclosed is an exhaust gas treatment system that, in CO2 chemisorption equipment requiring enormous heat energy, efficiently and without any restrictions usesin the CO2 chemisorption equipmentheat recovered from the exhaust gas, and that can reduce the operating cost of the CO2 chemisorption equipment. The exhaust gas treatment systemwhich is provided with: a heat recovery unit that recovers exhaust heat from exhaust gas discharged from a boiler; and CO2 chemisorption equipment that absorbs CO2 in the exhaust gas by causing the exhaust gas to contact an amine sorbent liquid in a carbon dioxide (CO2) absorption tower, heats the sorbent liquid that has absorbed said CO2, causing the release of CO2 within a CO2 regeneration tower, and after heating the post-CO2-release sorbent liquid via a re-boiler, circulates the sorbent liquid to the CO2 absorption towerhas a heat exchange means that confers the heat recovered by the aforementioned heat recovery unit to the sorbent liquid sent to the re-boiler from the CO2 regeneration tower of the aforementioned CO2 chemisorption equipment. |
