PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor device for generating a high torque.SOLUTION: The motor device includes a rotor, a motor main unit for rotating the rotor, and a brake unit equipped with: a contact member suspended on at least one portion of an outer periphery of the rotor; and a drive unit for moving the contact member by a given distance in a contact state between the rotor and the contact member, and for returning the contact member to a prescribed position by canceling the contact state. |
