PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron core of a rotating electrical machine of a low iron loss, wherein plastic strain introduced near an end face of a punch-processed part that could be a cause for degradation of iron loss is removed by removing a region with the plastic strain introduced therein by shaving processing without annealing.SOLUTION: In an iron core of a rotating electrical machine by punching and processing a plate material to be processed, a region equivalent to 5-25% of the thickness of the plate material to be processed is removed per one time by shaving processing from the end face of the punch-processed part.
