PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that improves the S/N ratio of images without changing strength distributions by applying an execution threshold value decision method to finalize the threshold values without requiring any reference waveform.SOLUTION: The imaging device receiving acoustic waves within a subject and acquiring his/her property distribution information includes a correlation coefficient distribution calculation part to calculate correlation coefficients per voxel or pixel from a plurality of signals at a measured region and obtain correlation coefficient distributions, a threshold value calculation part to decide an execution threshold value for the correlation coefficient distribution, a threshold value judgment part to determine whether each correlation coefficient per voxel or pixel for the correlation coefficient distribution exceeds the execution value decided by the threshold value calculation part, and a threshold value disposal part to nullify or reduce the property distribution information of voxel or pixel whose correlation coefficients are the threshold execution values or below, as a result of judgment by the threshold value judgment part on the property distribution information within the subject corresponding spatially to the correlation coefficient distribution. |
