PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a multilayer coating film which has no necessity of using a gelling agent, a thickening agent and the like, such as gelatin, for layering by adjusting a viscosity, is easy in operation, can impart various functions, such as a hard coat property and transparency, and produces a multilayer coating film excellent in adhesion between layers easily with high productivity by applying a plurality of coating liquids altogether.SOLUTION: In the method of producing a multilayer coating film which has a step for multilayering a plurality of the coating liquids beforehand and transferring the multilayered coating liquid to a substrate, two kinds of coating liquids coming into contact with each other are divided into a hydrophilic organic solvent-based coating liquid and an aqueous coating liquid, and a mixing preventing component for preventing the mixing of the two kinds of the coating liquids is mixed in at least one of the coating liquids beforehand, thereby securing a layer interface after the layering. |
