PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation detection device of an engine which can suppress a malfunction that the detection accuracy of a tooth of a pulsar plate by a rotation sensor is deteriorated while having the pulsar plate which is obtained by punching a sheet metal.SOLUTION: In a rotation detection device of an engine, when using a pulsar plate 2 obtained by punching a sheet metal, a droop 7 is generated at a punch-start side end edge 6 of a tooth 5 by punching processing, a center axial line separation distance 10 which is formed by the fact that a thick center line 9a of a straight portion 9 of a protrusive end edge 8 of the tooth 5 except for the droop 7 is separated from a center axial line 4a of a rotation sensor 4 which passes through a thick center 5a of the tooth 5 becomes short by a recessed part 12 formed at a punch-finish side end edge 11 at the protrusive end edge 8 side of the tooth 5 of the pulsar plate 2. |
