PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an O/W emulsified composition which is excellent in UV protection ability, formulation stability, and use feeling.SOLUTION: The O/W emulsified composition includes a component (a) and a component (b), wherein emulsion particles containing the component (a) have an average particle size of 800 nm or less. The component (a) is an organic UV absorber including (a1) octocrylene, (a2) ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, and (a3) 4-t-butyl-4'-methoxydibenzoylmethane. The component (b) is a polyoxyethylene-polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether block polymer represented by general formula (1) or (2). In general formula (1): RO-(PO)m-(EO)n-H, Rdenotes a 16C-18C hydrocarbon group; PO denotes an oxypropylene group; EO denotes an oxyethylene group; PO and EO are added in blocks; and m and n denote an average molar number of added PO and an average molar number of added EO, respectively, and satisfy 4≤m<70, 10≤n<70, and m<n. In general formula (2): RO-(AO)p-(EO)q-R, Rand Rmay be the same or different and each denote a 1-4C hydrocarbon group; AO denotes a 3-4C oxyalkylene group; EO denotes an oxyethylene group; AO and EO are added in blocks; and p and q represent an average molar number of added AO and an average molar number of added EO, respectively, and satisfy 1≤p≤70, 1≤q≤70 and 0.5<(q/(p+q))<0.8. |
