PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HUD device for vehicle smoothly adjusting the display position of a virtual image of vehicle-related information in accordance with an adjustment command, and enhancing the reliability of the adjustment of the display position.SOLUTION: In the HUD device 1 projecting a reflected image of a display image of a display 20 by a reflecting mirror 32 onto a windshield 4 to display the virtual image, drive signals, applied to a stepping motor 40, and driving to rotate the reflecting mirror 32 to adjust the display position of the virtual image, are controlled such that an electrical angle changes in accordance with an adjustment command.
