PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer that prevents and inhibits density unevenness to be generated at a specified pitch.SOLUTION: The printer includes: a thermal head; a conveying mechanism for conveying a paper: a stepping motor for driving a feed roller of the conveying mechanism; and a rotational driving control part which outputs a driving pulse signal PS to the stepping motor and performs rotational driving control of the stepping motor. In the printer, the rotational driving control part includes: a pulse calculating means for calculating the number of pulses in one cycle corresponding to the intervals of density unevenness that occurs at a predetermined cycle on the paper subjected to print processing; and a pulse period changing means for generating a corrected driving pulse signal PS' constituting one cycle by combining a plurality of kinds of pulse periods including a changing pulse period obtained by adjusting a reference pulse period same in number as the number of pulses in one cycle calculated by the pulse calculating means, by a changing ratio within a predetermined range.
