PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor and an image forming method, which reduces interferential streaks produced in a halftone image when a photoreceptor substrate having been subjected to a cutting process with a tool bit is used, and which can give high image qualities corresponding to the field of quick printing or the like.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes at least a photosensitive layer on a cylindrical substrate, wherein the substrate has a processed profile regularly formed on the outer circumferential surface along the center axis, and the profile satisfies an expression 1:ΔL≥10 μm (where ΔL represents a difference in the processing period width in the center axis direction of the cylindrical substrate within an image region). |
