The mixer (1) has a mixer housing in which a mixture container is arranged. A mixing device (7) is accommodated in the housing, and implements defined mixing movement i.e. biaxial movement. The device has opposite clamping plates (16, 17) i.e. rotary disks, rotatable around rotational axis. A separating wall (44) separates defined components of the device from each other, so that the plates extend into a mixing chamber (47) and a defined part i.e. adjusting device, of the remaining mixing device and/or elements in the housing lie on a side of the separator wall.
