<p>The device i.e. adhesive binder (1), has a book block conveying device (10) comprising a conveying unit (11) and clamps (14) that are arranged on the unit at a fixed pitch spacing (T). A processing station e.g. book block guiding station (25), spine processing station (18) and cover feeder (20), is adjusted in a motor-driven manner. Cycle time defined with respect to conveyance of the clamps is divided into an adjusting segment to reset and/or adjust the station based on changing printed product characteristics and a processing segment to process book blocks and/or covers.</p> |
