Food comprises (a) a pressed core containing carbonates comprising alkali carbonates, alkali hydrogen carbonates, alkaline earth carbonates and/or alkaline earth hydrogen carbonates, an organic acid and a flavoring agent and (b) a film coating comprising at least a film former and a coloring agent. The weight of the film coating is 0.5-3 wt.% of the total weight of the food. An independent claim is also included for preparing the food, comprising mixing the ingredients for the core, pressing the ingredients and coating the pressed core with the sugar film. |
