The assembly has live shells (C) contained in a microwaveable food package (1). The package is used as container for cooking the shells in a microwave oven. The package contains a sauce containing fat content that is in a solid state at ambient temperature and liquefied under cooking effect. The sauce consists of butter or contains butter and/or other butter fat and contains texturing agents i.e. gelling agents. The sauce is presented in metal disks (2).
