PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost structural steel material which has excellent weatherability.SOLUTION: The structural steel material has a composition comprising, by mass, >0.06 to <0.14% C, 0.05 to 2.00% Si, 0.2 to 2.0% Mn, 0.005 to 0.030% P, 0.0001 to 0.0200% S, 0.001 to 0.100% Al, 0.1 to 1.0% Cu, 0.1 to 5.0% Ni and 0.005 to 1.000% Mo, and further comprising one or two kinds selected from 0.005 to 0.200% Sb and 0.005 to 0.100% Sn, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities. |
