Disclosed is a simplified method for manufacturing a photoelectric conversion device with improved conversion efficiency. A photoelectric conversion device (200) comprises: a transparent substrate (30); a transparent electrode layer (32) formed on the surface of the transparent substrate (30); a photoelectric conversion layer (34) formed in such a way as to cover the transparent electrode layer (32) and the transparent substrate (30) in the region of slits (S1) where the transparent electrode layer (32) has been removed; and a rear-face electrode layer (38) that covers the photoelectric conversion layer (34) and the regions of the slits (S2) on the transparent electrode (32) where the photoelectric conversion layer (34) has been removed. A no-electrode region (S4) is provided within the region of the slits (S2) where the transparent electrode layer (32) is exposed and no rear-face electrode layer (38) is formed in the direction in which the slits (S2) run.
