The control device has base module (1) with electrical or electronic components required for the function. The base module has a bus interface for the connection to a bus system. A carrier arrangement (4) is provided, to which the base module is mounted on one side and on the other side which is equipped with the display module (3). Additional interfaces (5,6,7) are available covered at the base module or at the carrier arrangement. An assembly group (A) of the display module is retained adjustable at the carrier arrangement starting from a base position into a service position.
