PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a variation in the injection quantity of a fuel injection valve caused by a change in fuel pressure when a high-pressure pump delivers fuel, in a system supplying high-pressure fuel delivered from the high-pressure pump to the fuel injection valve.SOLUTION: Delivery control during non-injection for controlling the high-pressure pump 14 is performed so that the fuel is delivered while avoiding the injection period of the fuel injection valve 31. In this regard, in an intake stroke injection mode injecting the fuel in an intake stroke, the delivery control during non-injection is performed by switching to an intermittent delivery mode delivering the fuel in a compression mode. In a compression stroke injection mode injecting the fuel in the compression stroke, the delivery control during non-injection is performed by switching to the intermittent delivery mode delivering the fuel in the intake stroke. Further, in an intake/compression stroke divided injection mode injecting the fuel in the intake stroke and compression stroke, the delivery control during non-injection is performed by switching to a continuous delivery mode delivering the fuel in the intake stroke and compression stroke and controlling a fuel pressure control valve 23 so that delivery periods do not overlap with injection periods. |
