PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for thawing a frozen product structured so as to make the frozen product freely float inside a thawing tank while inhibiting the frozen product from coming into collision with the thawing tank or the like, to thaw the frozen product while stirring with stirring blades, so that the frozen product and thawing liquid sufficiently come in contact with each other to improve thawing efficiency and thereby improve thawing performance while raw materials for the frozen product are prevented from being damaged.SOLUTION: The device for thawing a frozen product includes: a thawing tank 1 having a bottom wall 2 and a side wall 4, formed into a rotationally symmetric state centering a central axis P extending in a longitudinal direction, and allowing thawing liquid W and also a frozen product B to be housed; and a stirring mechanism 10 for stirring the thawing liquid W. The stirring mechanism 10 is structured by including: a rotary axis 11 having the central axis P of the thawing tank 1 as an axis line; a stirring part 12 set to the rotary axis 11 and generating the liquid flow of the thawing liquid W in a revolving direction while facing outward with a central focus on the rotary axis 11 at the side of the bottom surface 2a of the bottom wall 2 by the rotation of the rotary axis 11; and a driving part 13 driving the rotary axis 11 to rotate. A plurality of projections 5 extending in the longitudinal direction of the side wall 4 are set to the inside surface 4a of the side wall 4 of the thawing tank 10 each in a projecting condition at prescribed intervals. |
