The invention relates to novel combinations of active ingredients consisting of at least one known compound of formula (I), in which R and A have the meanings cited in the description, and at least one other known active ingredient from the groups (2) to (27) described in the description. Said novel combinations of active ingredients are particularly suitable for controlling animal pests such as insects and undesired acarides and plant-pathogenic fungi.
