PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a productive binder composition for a secondary battery negative electrode of good battery cycle properties, a slurry composition for the secondary battery negative electrode using the binder composition, a negative electrode for a secondary battery, the secondary battery, and a manufacturing method of binder composition for the secondary battery negative electrode.SOLUTION: The binder composition for the secondary battery negative electrode contains a binder comprising 20-60 wt.% of aliphatic conjugated diene monomer units, 1-10 wt.% of ethylene system unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer units, and 30-79 wt.% of the weight of other monomer units capable of copolymerization with these, and 0.5-50 ppm free alkyl mercaptan against 100 pts.wt. of the binder. |
