PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a long-period wave reducing structure capable of accurately and easily constructing a water flow port portion for long-period wave when an impermeable wall which constitutes the long-period wave reducing structure is constructed by stacking concrete blocks.SOLUTION: When a long-period wave reducing structure which comprises an impermeable wall constituting a drain part for a long-period wave at a position apart a distance from a rear wall inward of a harbor, in which the front surface of the impermeable wall alternately forms recessed and projecting parts at right angle to the normal line thereof by alternately differentiating the angle thereof along the normal line in the direction perpendicular to the normal line, and which comprises, in the recessed parts, respective vertical slit-like water flow ports for long-period wave leading to the drain part for long-period wave, a guide member 50 for positioning a block which matches the flat surface shape of the water flow port for long-period wave is installed at a water bottom where the vertical slit-like water flow ports for long-period wave are to be constructed, and concrete blocks 30 for constructing a permeable wall are installed along the guide member. |
