PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily exchange only a sub filter excluding a casing without necessity of enlarging a flow passage switching device existing in an area with desirable visibility assurance even in the case of a faucet direct connection type water purifier for disposing a sub filter with lower filtration performance than a main filter, such as a filter membrane, on the upstream side of the main filter.SOLUTION: The water purifier includes a flow passage switching device fixed on a faucet and a main filter cartridge detachably connected to the flow passage switching device, the main filter cartridge including a housing and a filter medium (A). On an outer face of the main filter cartridge, there is disposed a closing member that is detachably connected to the outer face and forms a closed space together with the outer face. In the closed space, a filter medium (B) is detachably disposed, and water to be treated passes through the flow passage switching device, other areas than the filter medium (A) in the housing of the main filter cartridge, the filter medium (B) and the filter medium (A) of the main filter cartridge in order. |
