PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for nonaqueous lithium type energy storage elements, which has high energy density, high power, and superior durability, and to provide a nonaqueous lithium type energy storage element using the negative electrode material.SOLUTION: The negative electrode material for nonaqueous lithium type energy storage elements is a compound porous material where a carbonaceous material is deposited on a surface of active carbon. In the negative electrode material for nonaqueous lithium type energy storage elements, a peak intensity ratio (Id/Ig) of peak intensity (Id) at 1,360 cmmeasured in a Raman spectrum using a laser with a wavelength of 532 nm of the compound porous material to peak intensity (Ig) at 1,580 cmis ≥0.90 and ≤1.25. |
