PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper-titanium-hydrogen alloy obtainable for a relatively short time.SOLUTION: In the method for producing a copper-titanium-hydrogen alloy, a copper-titanium alloy in which titanium of 1 to 7.5 atom% is made to enter into a solid solution is rapidly cooled, the obtained supersaturated solid solution copper-titanium alloy is cold-rolled, and is thereafter subjected to age precipitation hardening, and also, hydrogen is incorporated therein. The age precipitation hardening may be performed in a hydrogen atmosphere. Thus, the copper-titanium-hydrogen alloy having excellent conductivity and strength can be obtained in a shorter time compared with the conventional one. |
