PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a line-multiplex system, a line-multiplex negotiation method, and a line-multiplex gateway device capable of providing a line-multiplex function without modifying an existing communication terminal having no line-multiplex function and a server in a network.SOLUTION: User terminals 10, 20 mutually establish a PPP session through a P2P server in an internet to perform P2P communication. A PPP function is provided on an Ethernet (R) by a PPPoE between a user terminal and a communication unit. The line-multiplex gateway devices 13, 23 are connected between the user terminal and a plurality of communication units. Consequently, line-multiplex negotiation is performed by the connected devices, and line multiplication in an IP packet communication is provided between both the communication terminals. |
