<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic booster device for driving a clamping tool driving hydraulic actuator, which stops the hydraulic actuator at any position during super high or low pressure drive, although a conventional hydraulic booster device drives the hydraulic actuator with super high or low operating oil in a hydraulic booster mechanism and gives it resetting operation but cannot stop it at any position during super high or low drive. <P>SOLUTION: The hydraulic booster device comprises a main selector valve means 103, and an auxiliary selector valve means 111 is provided independently from the main selector valve means for changeover control.
