FIELD: machine building. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to cutting disk (19) designed for cutting continuous fibres to pieces of specified length and to installation for manufacture of cut fibres. The cutting disk consists of a support element formed by means of a rotating drum equipped with blades (22) positioned perpendicular to its periphery and of elements between blades (22) facilitating hold down of fibres (11) to surface of the support drum under effect of centrifugal force, facilitating fibres cutting to pieces (14) and cut pieces throwing out. The elements facilitating fibres hold down are formed by means of ribs joined with deformed ring (26, 27a, 27b) positioned under base of blades (22) and axis of which coincides with a rotation axis of cutting disk (19). In the said cutting disk deformed ring (26, 27a, 27b) has a straight wall on each side. The said walls are located parallel to each other and are directed from the base of deformed ring (26, 27a, 27b) to base of the ribs. ^ EFFECT: increased rate of continuous fibres cutting and increased number of draw rings. ^ 12 cl, 7 dwg |
