ADAPTIVE SUPPORT WITH TENSION STRIP

Adaptive support with tension strip comprises separate arches made of special profile that include roof beam and props connected with lap by means of yielding units, and flexible tension strips made of metal cable that are installed in the floor of the working with fixation on the props. Support props in hinged way rest on the support shoes with unloading arms ratios of lengths of which depend on the ratio of the side and vertical pressure, those are attached with anchors to the floor of the working with possibility of displacement of the props between the supports in lateral direction for formation in the arch due to preliminary thrust of tension strip and upthrusting of the floor of the working the stresses that react against forces of rock pressure. At that the flexible adjusting tension strip made of metal cable that is in contact with the floor of the working and creates mechanical resistance to displacements of rocks of the floor is equipped with yielding units that connect the rods of the tension strip to each other with fixation on the support shoes and props without possibility of motion over the arch at floor upthrusting.
