PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester dyeable with cationic dyes at normal pressure, wherein the polyester uses a titanium compound soluble in the polyester and, thereby, is environmentally-friendly and excellent in color tone and heat-resistance, the fiber comprising the polyester causes little spinneret stain in spinning and, compared with conventionals, the polyester is superior in heat resistance, color tone and dyeability with cationic dyes at normal pressure, and to provide fibers comprising the polyester.SOLUTION: There are provided a polyester dyeable with cationic dyes at normal pressure, which is a polyester comprising 2.0-5.5 mol% isophthalic acid component containing a metal sulfonate group based on the whole acid components, and 3.0-6.0 mol% adipic acid component based on the whole acid components, and containing 3-10 ppm polyester-soluble titanium compound in terms of titanium element and 5-40 ppm phosphorus compound in terms of phosphorus element, and there is also provided fibers comprising the polyester. |
