PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side structure which ensures the strength of a center pillar outer section and decreases the bending radius of the center pillar outer section.SOLUTION: In the vehicle body side structure, a front pillar outer lower section 75 of a front pillar 18 is molded using a high tension steel plate. The center pillar outer section 45 is molded using the high tension steel plate. A door beam 132 disposed inside a front door 131 overlies the center pillar outer section 45 and the front pillar outer lower section 75 when viewed from the side of the vehicle. The door beam 132 is obliquely disposed at the angle at which a front end 134 is opposed to the upper wide part of the front pillar outer lower section 75, and a rear end 136 is opposed to a lower wide part 137 of the center pillar outer section 45. |
