A 3D-image capturing device corrects an optical axis shift by implementing on an image a stripping process that corresponds to quantities of optical axis shifts in left and right image capturing optical systems in relation to left and right images captured by left and right image capturing units. In such a case, the quantity of optical axis shift that corresponds to a present focus position is obtained (step S38) from the quantity of optical axis shift detected according to a focus position stored in a storage unit in advance, and implements the stripping process (step S40) for 3D-image display in relation to left and right images, based on the obtained optical axis shift quantity. This attains good correction of the optical axis shift in left and right image capturing optical systems, regardless of the focusing position (subject distance). |
