The disclosed storage device for storing coordinate position information automatically assesses that information has been entered into different areas, thereby improving convenience of a storage device for storing coordinate position information related to an input position of information that has been input using an input device by a user. The disclosed storage device (50) is provided with a coil sheet (54) in which an area including one sense coil and an area including another sense coil are placed adjacently, wherein data strings related to input positions of information input using an electronic pen (20) are stored in each sense coil. At the storage device (50), an assessment is made regarding whether the input device has made a switch from either the area including one sense coil or the area including the other sense coil to the other area. Then, if switching is assessed, data strings related to input positions that have been stored between a first time-point at where switching has been previously assessed to a second time-point at where switching is currently assessed are stored in a storage unit (62). In storing to the storage unit (62), identification information is associated with the stored data strings.
