<p>The purposes of the present invention are to elucidate the physiological importance of glycosaminoglycans such as heparin and heparan sulfate and to provide novel applications of these molecules. Specifically disclosed is an agent for inhibiting the physiological activity of a heparin-binding protein, which contains a sulfated saccharide as an active ingredient. The agent for inhibiting the physiological activity of a heparin-binding protein is utilized, for example, as an angiogenesis inhibitor.</p> |
