PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively present an image without complicated user operation.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus acquires information indicating circumstances to generate a circumstance vector, and selects a conversion parameter specified by the circumstance vector. The image processing apparatus then uses the obtained conversion parameter to apply image conversion to an original image to be displayed, and displays an obtained converted image. In the evening, for example, in accordance with the circumstance, the original image is color-tone-corrected to a reddish tone, to form a converted image for display. There is no need for a user to designate the conversion parameter or the like. The present invention may be applicable to digital photo frames. |
