PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimping terminal capable of getting rid of a problem of corrosion of a conductor of an electric wire by preventing moisture from permeating into the conductor of the electric wire even if moisture tends to adhere to an electric wire connection section.SOLUTION: The electric wire connection section 12 of the crimping terminal 10 is formed by a lower surface plate 14 continued from a bottom plate section of a front electricity connection section 11, and an upper surface plate 15 extended at a rear end of the lower surface plate 14 and located at an upper part of the lower surface plate 14 by folding back forward at an upper part of a connection section with the lower surface plate 14. The upper surface plate 15 and the lower surface plate 14 are formed in a cross-section shape where a terminal section of the electric wire W can be stored inside a space at the time of being overlapped with each other, and are formed by caulking the terminal section of the electric wire while the inside is sealed by being crushed by receiving caulking pressure from a vertical direction. Further, an electric wire insertion hole 17 for inserting the terminal section of the electric wire W between the lower surface plate 14 and the upper surface plate 15 is formed on a folded section 16 from the lower surface plate 14 to the upper surface plate 15. |
