PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or prevent a degradation in cooling efficiency caused by clogging of heat radiation fins with accumulated dust.SOLUTION: This elevator control device 1 includes a radiator 3, a fan 4 for blowing air to the radiator 3, and a fan control unit 6 for controlling the rotating speed of the fan 4 depending on the operating condition of an elevator. During the operation in the moving direction of a passenger car approaching a floor on which the elevator control device 1 is installed or in the state where the passenger car is located in proximity thereto, the fan control unit 6 reduces the rotating speed of the cooling fan 4 to avoid a plume of raised dust from moving into each heat radiation fin of the radiator 3, or measures the amount of dust floating in air around the elevator control device 1 and reduces the rotating speed of the cooling fan 4 when the amount of dust is greater. |
