PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document classifying device etc. for accurately classifying documents with less human overhead in advance preparation and maintenance work.SOLUTION: A grouping process 21 groups evaluation words included in learning documents 32 based on a list (evaluation word list 31) of evaluation words to be used as evaluation expressions and classified learning documents 32, to output evaluation word groups 41. A classification score computing process 22 inputs the learning documents 32 and the evaluation word groups 41, and computes classification scores for classifying the unclassified documents for each evaluation word group 41, to output evaluation word groups 42 with classified scores attached thereto.A document classification process 23 inputs unclassified documents 33, specifies the evaluation word group 41 to which evaluation words included in the unclassified documents 33 belong, classifies unclassified documents 33 based on the classification score of the specified evaluation word group 41, to output a classified result 43.
