PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce lateral an occupying space without degrading ease of maintenance while two or more machine tools are assembled and disposed for the machine tool.SOLUTION: By providing an area 45 on the rear side of the machining part 40 of an automatic lathe 100 (machine tool) with a material supply part 80 that supplies a workpiece 200 (article to be processed) to another automatic lathe 100 (102) positioned to the side of the automatic lathe 100 (101), the need to separately provide a material feeding device is eliminated, and maintenance of electrical equipment and the like within a housing 70 is enabled, without hindering opening and closing of doors 61, 62, 63 of the housing 70 that opens onto the rear side of the automatic lathe 100, and the space occupied in the horizontal direction is reduced compared with the conventional one. |
