<p>The disclosed waste heat regeneration system is equipped with a pump, a coolant boiler, an exhaust gas boiler, an expander, a condenser, a gas/liquid separator and a subcooler. On the basis of a pressure difference (P1 - P2) that corresponds to the temperature difference (T1 - T2) between the operating fluid temperature (T1) upstream of the subcooler and the operating fluid temperature (T2) downstream of the subcooler, a flow control valve regulates the amount of operating fluid that circulates through a bypass flow path by controlling valve travel and thereby keeps the temperature difference (T1 - T2) at or below a prescribed value. Thus, the degree of subcooling is prevented from becoming excessive and the waste heat regeneration efficiency of a rankine cycle device can be maintained.</p> |
