PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxidizing agent also serving as a dopant for forming an electrically conductive composition having high conductivity with good reaction efficiency, a dopant solution for constituting the oxidizing agent also serving as the dopant, the conductive composition, a solid electrolytic capacitor using the conductive composition, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor contains the dopant solution for conductive polymers which contains one or more kinds of aromatic sulfonic acid selected from a group including naphthalene sulfonic acid, naphthalene disulfonic acid, anthraquinone sulfonic acid, and anthraquinone disulfonic acid by a specific concentration; the oxidizing agent also serving as the dopant for conductive polymers which comprises the dopant solution, and an aqueous solution containing persulfate by a specific concentration as a precipitated object by contact of the dopant solution with the persulfate aqueous solution; the conductive composition obtained through the use of the oxidizing agent also serving as the dopant; and the solid electrolytic capacitor including the conductive composition.
