As a means for treating diseases such as neurodegenerative diseases, malignant tumors and infectious diseases, a method for screening a substance increasing glutathione is provided. According to this method, by contacting a test substance with a cell expressing a GTRAP3-18 protein, a substance decreasing the amount of expression of the GTRAP3-18 protein or inhibiting a function of the GTRAP3-18 protein is specified as a target substance. |
