<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of reducing a size and weight by simplifying the structure of a treatment unit. <P>SOLUTION: The treatment unit 10 includes: a communication part 19 that receives through a communication cable 20 root canal length information acquired by a root canal length measuring unit 91 being an external diagnostic unit; a display device 12 for displaying the root canal length information; and a treatment unit body 11 to which a file F for root canal enlargement is attached. The treatment unit body 11 forms a holding part 111 to be held by a user, and the display device 12 is provided on the outer circumference of the holding part 111.
