PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtration system which can produce treated water having stable water quality while securing the amount of water supply. SOLUTION: The filtration system includes a plurality of filtration means which produces the treated water, a plurality of water quality measuring means 6a, 6b each of which measures the water quality of the treated water, a plurality of pollution degree detecting means 3, 6a, 6b which detect pollution degrees, which are degrees of pollution of a filter medium, in a plurality of the filtration means respectively, a washing operation execution request determination means 16 which determines whether the execution request of washing operation of the filter medium, comprising a backwashing process and a water washing process, is performed or not in a plurality of the filtration means, a filtration means selection means 17 which, when the execution request of the washing operation is performed in a plurality of the filtration means, compares the water qualities (turbidities) of the treated waters with each other and/or compares the pollution degrees of the treated waters with each other, thereby selecting a filtration means, which preferentially executes the washing operation, from among a plurality of the filtration means, and a washing operation execution control means 18 which controls the selected filtration means so as to execute the washing operation.
