A volume-fixed control unit (104) performs servo control for each beat of the pulse wave while updating servo gain in such a manner that the difference between the arterial volume indicated by the arterial volume signal detected by an arterial volume detection circuit (74), and the control target value of the servo control is less than control deviation in which the rate of arterial volume change relative to cuff pressure change can be regarded as being fixed. As the control deviation is the difference between the arterial volume indicated by the arterial volume signal and the control target value, a blood pressure determination unit (105) determines a cuff pressure that is sequentially detected in the period of performing the servo control as a blood pressure by correcting the cuff pressure using the control deviation and the rate of the change that can be regarded as being fixed. |
