Vehicle seat of which the backrest (2) comprises a rest portion (3, 43) in the form of a flexible closed loop adapted to move in a substantially vertical direction with a circular motion by rotating about two spaced horizontal shafts (11, 12; 46, 48) and adapted to be driven by the friction exerted by the occupant of the vehicle, characterised by the fact that said rest portion (3, 47) constitutes a continuous surface extending throughout the height of the backrest and that said rest portion is supported directly and resiliently between said shafts (11, 12; 46, 48) by rotary members (14; 47, 49) so that it can move around the backrest.</p> |
