PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming an image with high accuracy. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 10 includes: a switching power source 110 for outputting DC voltages to loads 130 and 140 and loads 521 to 523, respectively; a power source control part 124 for increasing the output voltage of the switching power source 110 in operations of the loads 521 and 522; and a load control part 121 for controlling operations the loads 130 and 140 in such a manner that outputs of the loads 130 and 140 are within a predetermined range in the operations of the loads 521 and 522.
